Dysport® is a Botulinum Toxin Type A that is very similar to Botox®. They are both registered in New Zealand for the treatment of facial wrinkles. At Face Doctors, we stock both products and discuss the differences between each with you at your consultation. We have generally found Dysport® to produce superior results to Botox®, especially in terms of onset of action – it works faster! For this reason, Dysport® is our preferred Botulinum toxin (Type A).
