O-Shot®
The O-Shot® is a natural and non-surgical procedure to revitalize female sexual function.
The O Shot® uses Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) from the patient's own blood, which is activated as a Platelet-Rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM), to stimulate the patients own platelet growth factors to generate improvement in sexual function.

What can the O Shot® be used for?
Is the O Shot® right for you?
Dr. Lara Courtenay will first consult with you and discuss the different treatment options and these which may or may not be inclusive of the O Shot®. Low libido and sexual dysfunction is incredibly common in women, some studies show up to 50% of women experience it to some degree, but now we have a unique way treat these concerns.
How does O Shot® Work?
The O Shot® procedure begins with a simple blood draw from the arm. This sample is then put into a special centrifuge to produce the Platelet-Rich Plasma.
Once the blood is placed in the centrifuge, topical anaesthetic will be applied to the clitoris and upper vaginal region to help numb the area.
The Platelet-Rich Plasma is then injected into the numbed area at the base of the clitoris and upper vagina.
The O-Shot® treatment provides a very specific way of using the growth factors within Platelet-Rich Plasma to stimulate multi-potent stem cells to generate healthier and more functional tissue in the areas of sexual response and urinary continence within the vagina (G-Spot, O-Spot, Skene’s Glands, urethra, & vaginal wall). By revitalizing and rejuvenating this area, it not only lessens the problem of bladder leakage but also improves sexual function.

When will I see results?
Many women experience an improvement in their urinary stress incontinence almost immediately, while an improvement in sensation may take three weeks to six months.

What are the benefits of O Shot® ?
1. Boost your libido
Your libido, also know as sex drive, is your interest in engaging in sexual activities. It’s a complex combination of mental and hormonal elements, and it’s normal for sex drive to fluctuate as you move through life.
It’s common to experience a steep drop in libido as you get older. Hormonal changes in menopause and beyond can make you less interested in sex, which may put strain on your self-esteem or your relationship with your significant other.
Along with improving symptoms like discomfort with sex and inability to orgasm, the O-Shot could boost your libido. It increases blood flow, and many women find that it makes sex more enjoyable.
2. Make sex more comfortable
As you get older, you’re more likely to experience symptoms like vaginal dryness, discomfort, and painful intercourse. Pain with sex may make it more difficult to achieve orgasm and can contribute to disinterest in sex.
Tissue regeneration stimulated by the O-Shot can increase natural vaginal moisture and reduce symptoms of painful intercourse. Getting the O-Shot could relieve dryness, revitalize tissue to improve vaginal laxity, and minimize discomfort during sex.
3. Improve your ability to orgasm
The O-Shot is also called the orgasm shot, and for good reason. It was developed specifically to help women have better, more frequent orgasms.
There are lots of reasons that women struggle to achieve sexual satisfaction, whether it’s a complication of pregnancy and childbirth or it’s related to low hormone levels and menopause. Whatever the cause, not being able to orgasm is a frustrating problem that can affect your libido.
The PRP in O-Shot therapy increases blood flow and stimulates tissue regeneration within your vaginal area. As a result, you could experience increased sensation and find that achieving orgasm is easier.
4. Minimize urinary incontinence symptoms
The O-Shot offers a host of benefits that could make sex more comfortable and more enjoyable, but the benefits reach beyond your sex life. This therapy can also improve symptoms of urinary incontinence.
