Hi! My name is Danica and I’m a nail tech/artist. I really tapped into nail artistry during the pandemic. Watching how popular modern nail art had become via social media, I took it as an opportunity to jump on the bandwagon again.
Since I was a little girl I always loved painting my nails, like little panda bears and whatnot… it’s safe to say my style and skill has definitely upgraded since then but I’m not opposed to doing this for you shall you want it!
My favourite thing about nails is that you always feel put together after a fresh set, and should you wish to have nail art, it only adds that much creativity and fun to your everyday life.
In my downtime I’m usually working on my next sculptural nail art design for photoshoots or personal expression as that is truly my passion – pushing the boundaries of fashion, creating art inspired by natural materials and bringing all these ideas to life.
My favourite thing about salon work is connecting with all you lovely people. It’s an intimate time and I only hope it’s as comfortable for you as it is for me, ending with a beautiful set of nails to go about your day with.

Gel manicure
For a gel manicure I use what is called a rubber base which is designed to give a little more strength and flex to the nails compared to your traditional gel base coat. Followed by this is 2 coats of your chosen colour and a high shine top coat to finish, or matte if requested.
Nail art is an available add-on providing endless options ranging from your basic french tip to chrome, ombré, hand painted nail art, and embellishments (charms, rhinestones, pearls), etc. The price for this add-on service varies depending upon your request. Please email or direct message inspiration photos when booking is made so I can alter your appointment time if need be.
This service includes basic cuticle care*, file, shape and buffing of the nail with cuticle oil to finish.
Builder gel
My chosen product for a structured manicure is builder gel. This beauty in a bottle is used as an overlay for the natural nail. It’s sculpted to provide extra strength to the nail so they can grow out preventative of breaking. Infills are most commonly booked every 3 or 4 weeks to rebalance the nail and apex to further promote a strong structure for your desired natural nail length and shape.
Builder gel is just as great for short and/or brittle nails as a protective layer for those who prefer to keep their nail length down but strong and manicured as they go about their daily activities.
Add length to your builder gel service is an available add-on for those wanting to start out with longer nails as we work to make the transition to your natural nails being how you envision, or for the one-off appointment. Price is dependent upon desired nail length.
The builder gel brand I use is Luminary Nail System’s Multi Flex Gel. These come in a range of beautiful nude and pink tones. Please book the builder gel service incl. polish colour if you’re wanting a gel colour on top.

*Cuticle maintenance is an available add-on service for those who want some more work done, i.e. cuticle softening and removal along with an e-file manicure for any other over keratinised skin stuck to the nail plate (a.k.a. Russian manicure). The basic cuticle care provided involves the pushing back of the cuticle and the removal of any other highly visible cuticle overgrowth or hangnail.
