​Treatment Process: What to Expect

As featured in BeautyEQ, the treatment begins with a consultation to assess your scalp health and suitability. Following this, a clinical nurse applies the MG EXO-GROW tonic directly to the scalp using a fine syringe, parting the hair to ensure accurate placement.

Microneedling then follows. Tiny channels are created to promote blood flow and stimulate a healing response in the skin. These micro-injuries allow the exosomes to penetrate effectively and encourage dormant follicles to re-enter the growth phase.

Most patients describe the sensation as similar to facial microneedling, as prickly with a warm or tingling feel. The session takes around 20 minutes, and it’s common to experience some tenderness or redness for 24-48 hours afterwards.

Post-treatment care includes:

• Avoiding intense exercise, sun exposure, or hair washing for the rest of the day
  
• Skipping salon colouring during your treatment window to spot new baby hairs easily
