Oligopeptide Peptides have demonstrated mitogenic (cellular division) activity towards fibroblasts increasing collagen, elastin, laminin, fibronectin and hyaluronan in addition they regulate a broad spectrum of biological functions, including cellular proliferation, survival, migration, and differentiation as well as the regeneration of tissues, including skin.

With respect to hair, Oligopeptide Peptide can promote papilla cell proliferation and an increase in the size of the hair follicle, whilst also stimulating hair by inducing the Anagen phase or the active phase of the hair follicle cycle. This is done by stimulating those proteins that promote the migration of hair follicles from dormant stages of the hair cycle to the active phase.
PepFactor has identifiable pathways to potentially stimulate hair cell proliferation and the active phase of the hair cycle
PepFactor treatment occurs concomitantly with Copper Peptide which is found naturally in the body.
Copper Peptide function is to/can activate the wound healing response, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, increase proliferation of fibroblast and keratinocytes; angiogenesis and hair follicle size, release growth factors and stem cells that may cause hair stimulation and break down fibrosis in the scalp.
Copper Peptide can augment the action of PepFactor
Treatment requires a topical anesthetic to the scalp followed by micro-needling of PepFactor and Copper Peptide into the scalp, with focus in the region of greatest hair loss. Some patients may notice new activity a few weeks after their treatment, but this can also occur some months later. We typically recommend 4-8 treatments.
To optimize your results we recommend the combination therapy of Platelet Rich Plasma with PepFactor and Copper Peptide.
