Skin Surgery

Face Doctors works closely with New Zealand Plastic Surgeons to provide Skin Surgery options to enhance and correct skin concerns for patients. 

Dr Mark Gittos works in tandem with our very own Dr Mark Morunga to meet and consult with any patients who would like to consider Skin Surgery for a range of issues, including scar revision, skin cancer queries, moles and cysts, or hand surgery (both elective and acute).

Skin Cancer

Surgery is the most common way to treat and remove skin cancer. There are various techniques, each dictated by the size and type of the growth.

Mole and cyst removal

Face Doctors, we use the Ellman Surgitron machine to excise moles and skin lesions and the latest Cosmetic Surgical procedures for suspicious moles or deep lesions.

Scar Revision

Whether due to injury or surgery, skin can heal with a scar. In some instances “over scarring” may occur causing Keloid or Hypertrophic Scars.


Hand Surgery

Whether acute or elective hand surgery, we have developed a wealth of knowledge, experience and skill in the complex field of hand surgery.
